The walk on the new council-approved path between Paisley Gilmour Street and Renfrew Town Hall.

This walk is flat on a path and then over some public parks and backroads. The walk is very easy throughout. No special/the usual requirements for shoes or water. This is a walk for the whole family, 3 - 6 generations.




Train from Glasgow to Paisley Gilmour Street 6 times an hour.

From the train station and the county square, take the road under the railway to the first lights and then cross the street here down to Old Sneddon Road. Walk straight on at the next set of lights. You are now in the New Sneddon Road. Follow this for 300 yards/meters to the signposted bridge over the river to the right. Take this path and cross the bridge. After passing the river, take the next road to the left again and then the road at the signposted path up to the walking/cycling path.

This path now takes you to Wright Street. Take this road up to Knockhill Park to the left and cross this park, then walk next to a school and just follow the signposts from here to the Renfrew Town Hall where this walk ends.
